Among my varied interests, roadcycling is by far my most passionate. I love riding in the Sacramento area's foothills and many bike trails. Apart from being a cyclist I am also a techno geek, which prevents me from owning any equipment more than a few years old. Coincidentally my foray into road cycling began in 1999 after a long layoff. A particular Texan won his fight against cancer and went on to claim the world's most famous bike race, the Tour De France. I'd love to say i was inspired by him but rather it was the TV coverage that really got my interest peaked.
